And then the most fun group we have had here at The Snack Shack walked in. We met Jenn and Mark, Rick and Brenda, Terry and Marianne, and Troy and Jessica at Tacklebox on our day off last week. They were a fun bunch and we chatted away as we ate our conch fritters and fish. They said they would stop by The Shack to have some bloody marys one day. Well...they held their word!

Not only did they hold their word, but they came for breakfast and ended up ordering lunch also. A few bottles of vodka and a case of beer later....and this group was a riot.
Terry rolling over for a chip-he was imitating our dog, Jager... after he obeyed for some pepperoni.
Not to mention the Green Fairy shots we shared with the everyone.
Green Fairy for everyone!
CHEERS!
This group is regular visitors to San Pedro. They come specifically to see Kelly Mcguire. If you are not familiar with Kelly Mcguire, check out his website at kellymcguire.net. He's a great artist from Texas that has the sounds of country along with some Jimmy Buffet-ness. Is that a word? Oh well, if not....that's what I call a "krista-ism".
So after hanging at The Shack all day through the rain, we headed to Fido's with the group to watch Kelly Mcguire on stage. And boy was he good! He tells stories throughout the night between songs and really interacts with the crowd. He was even nice enough to take a break so the church going on next door could finish their service.
Rock it Kelly!
Kelly had a special guitarist with him on Friday night. This is Dusty. He played at The Apollo with Al Green last week. He was UNBELIEVABLE!
The group even got up to dance throughout the night. We had a table right up front so people watching was at it's prime.
Terry, Marianne, Brenda, and Jenn dancing away.
Fido's was so crowded there were people hanging over the railing upstairs.
So even though it may rain in San Pedro...find the right group of people and the sun will be shining on you all day.
